Rock Band Drum Kit Setup - Convert the Wii MIDI Pro Adapter to Use For Playstation 3/4/5

I've always wanted to get a Rock Band setup going because I didn't really have a chance to play when I was a kid. In my search for an overpriced (and surprisingly rare) Rock Band Drum Set, I found out that I can connect my dusty Simmons SD600 Electronic Drum Kit to my PS5 by using the relatively inexpensive Wii MIDI Pro Adapter (MPA) and a few tools. Many thanks to bookreader52 and u/Necessary_Bat_9491. Join me as I fumble about getting this setup to work. :) CHAPTERS 00:00 Introduction 02:15 Opening the MPA Enclosure 06:30 Converting Wii MIDI Pro Adapter to Playstation 09:32 Closing the MPA Enclosure 10:38 Drum-to-Playstation Setup 12:48 Mapping the MIDI Numbers 14:08 Rock Band Demo 15:21 Logical Diagram and Thanks. :) REQUIRED MATERIALS • MIDI-compatible Electronic Drum Kit I have Simmons SD600, but any drum set that's MIDI-compatible should do the trick • 5-pin MIDI Cable https://a.co/d/8Ugu0FJ • Nintendo Wii MIDI Pro Adapter https://a.co/d/fXzjJyz +Small Screwdriver +Tweezers OPTIONAL The following are only required if your Electronic Drums don't have a 5-pin MIDI Out port, and instead have a USB Host port: • USB MIDI Host Box https://a.co/d/9tfzTe2 • USB to Host Cable, also known as a USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable (i.e. Printer cable) https://a.co/d/gMHPOCm REFERENCES • Written Instructions for Converting a Wii MIDI Pro Adapter   / convert_a_wii_midi_pro_adapter_to_ps3ps4   • Mapping the MIDI Numbers   / midi_numbers_for_the_midi_pro_adapter
