In this video, students of Masters' Union travelled deep into Moradabad's manufacturing ecosystem to understand how the brass industry actually works. From family-run workshops and skilled artisans to manufacturers, retailers, and exporters, we follow the complete journey of a brass product and uncover the economics behind one of India's most important yet overlooked industries. More than 3,50,000 artisans are connected to this ecosystem, but despite its scale, there isn't a single dominant consumer brand in the space. Why? And in an industry worth thousands of crores, could there be an opportunity to build India's next great D2C brand?
