Most importantly, there was no condition at the time of the marriage that Pramod would have to arrange his brother-in-law's wedding in return. But as time passed, the story began to change. Pramod alleges that his father-in-law, Pokaram, one day told his father, "Get my son Naresh married...or I will take my daughter back." Initially, the family didn't take it seriously...but soon, this demand turned into pressure. Pramod alleges that in July 2025, his father-in-law arrived at his house with some of his relatives. What was said there was extremely shocking. It was reportedly said, "Either give us a girl for our son as part of the dowry, or give us Rs. 15 lakhs, otherwise our daughter will go with us." Pramod and his family refused to accept both demands. After this, Leela left with her father.
