Cayce Zavaglia Pushes HANDMADE Embroidery To Its Limits, Making It Look Like Paint
We appreciate the work of embroidery artist Cayce Zavaglia so much. At first glance, her embroidered pieces may look like a photograph. When you get closer, however, it is apparent that the image is made up of strings threaded through a canvas. When the art is turned onto the other side, an even more interesting image is revealed. Her artwork is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to see. In addition to this, Cayce Zavaglia takes portraiture to another level. Not only is the art she creates much more interesting to look at than a realistic portrait, but her art has layers and a deeper meaning attached to it. Cayce Zavaglia is by far one of the best HANDMADE embroidery artists you HAVE to follow. ENJOY the movie and share. Special thanks to filmmaker Jesse Brass.
