Jamaica Rabbit Farming: Installing a Three Tier Rabbit Cage System

At JSH Rabbits we are not looking to stay at the same place forever. As such we are constantly seeking ways to improve and be more efficient at growing rabbits for meat purposes. Jamaica is lacking a major supplier of rabbit meat and the market is right for the taking. We started off small and have been hitting our stride to grow the business and make as much use of the space that we have. Today we'll be putting into use a new set of cages that we built. This is a three tier cage system and it's just the right height so we don't have to stand on anything too high to access the top cages. This type of setup will allow us to have more cages installed to produce more rabbit meat. This is the first of many cages to come. As we aim to convert the entire rabbitry to a three tier system. We still have a long way to get where we want to be in the rabbit business, but we'll still continue to work and we'll continue to make Jamaica proud!!
