Elena Bechke and Denis Petrov: 1995 World Pros Technical Program: When You Tell Me That You Love Me

Having finished second at the 1992, 1993 and 1994 World Professional Championships, Elena and Denis were looking to secure their first World Pro win. They received strong marks for their fast and powerful performance despite an error on the throw-triple salchow, although a clean skate in the artistic program was not enough to secure them the win. They lost to the 1995 World Champions, Radka Kovarikova and Rene Novotny, who were controversially allowed to reskate their program from the beginning after Kovarikova tripped mid-performance over some lighting gear.
