Doing some maintenance on a Scotts/John Deere S1642 tractor

A friend of mine was lucky enough to be given a free garden tractor that was in pretty good shape considering it was made in 2001. This model has a very nice Kohler Command CV16 engine - far nicer than the similar models that were shipped with Briggs and Stratton engines. When maintained, they can run 2000 - 3000 hrs easily. The Briggs motors are rarely that lucky, In this video we do some basic maintenance such as: 1. Changing belts 2. Changing blades 3.
