A day-trip to the Isle of Eigg inc the CalMac ferry from Mallaig: my first steps on the Small Isles!

This part of Scotland is up there with my absolute favourites - the number of times I've stood on the beautiful beaches around Morar and gazed over at the stunning geography of the Small Isles and yearned to get there! Well here we go at last - it's one of my epic day-trips again, so I am limited to one island only. The one I wanted most - Eigg! Join me on this 21 hour trip to see if I can get to the very top of the island - the magnificent peak of An Sgùrr. Filmed on Monday 28th March 2022.
