Midland 77-805 extensive repair repair pt1. CB27/81 UK FM CB radio

Well, here is a Midland 77-805UK port-a-pak CB radio that has really been got at by the golden screwdriver & phantom modifryer. So I open up a dead set & it's been illegally modified to do 80 channels..40UK & 40 EU. As usual when this nonsense has happened the radio doesn't work; doesn't work BIG TIME. Here's part 1 of trying to reverse the silliness & get the radio working as well. As I type this, we are about to do a 'scratchy corner' test...but I'm not sure about TX audio. We'll see...
