The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named former Secretary General of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Ma'ruf Cahyono, as a suspect in a case of alleged bribery related to the procurement of goods and services within the MPR. The suspect status was announced by Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, in a press conference on Thursday (July 9, 2026).
