Fascia Training for Feet & Legs (Build Ground Power)

The feet are our connection to the ground, and the better we can use that connection, the more efficiently force can travel through the body. In this video I go through a series of exercises designed to develop the feet, legs, fascia, and connective tissues while improving whole-body integration and power generation. We work on mobility in the feet, tension through the fascial lines, opening the hips, and learning how to create elastic force through the legs. One of the key ideas in this training is learning how to connect the feet into the deep core and Dantian so the entire body starts working as one connected unit. We also explore throwing-style leg exercises to help open the joints, develop momentum through the fascia, and improve relaxed power. This kind of training has had a huge impact on my own martial arts and internal practice. When the feet and legs become more alive and connected, everything changes — balance, rooting, movement, striking power, and even the feeling of movement through the body. Take your time with these exercises and build them gradually, especially the throwing exercises. Start gently, see how your body responds, and slowly increase the intensity over time.
