A question that is very often asked is whether or not you can sand and refinish engineered wood flooring. In this video, I go into details about the depths of engineered flooring that can be sanded and when problems can arise. Before you go sanding deep into your engineered hardwood floors. Be sure to check how thick the hardwood wear layer is. 1-2mm is risky, 3mm is ok if the floor is very flat and not very damaged, 4 - 8 mm should be fine to sand.
