Desto Dubb is a rapper and founder behind Awful Lot of Cough Syrup. Drakeo the Ruler is most known for his songs Flu Flamming, Impatient Freestyle, La Verdad, and most recently, Talk to Me featuring Drake. In this interview Arshan and Drakeo talk about how Drakeo got told in prison that Drake followed him, and actually recorded a hook for their song Talk to Me. That song ended up on Drakeo’s album, The Truth Hurts, along side features from other artists like Don Toliver, Icewear Vezzo, and Ketchy the Great. Drakeo talks about who he thinks is running the next LA scene, where he mentioned Blxst, 1takejay, Azchike, Ohgeesy from Shoreline Mafia, Ralfy the Plug + more. Drakeo also talks about how he recorded over 200 songs in jail, by using a phone service where he could record bars and listen to beats from his producer, At the end Drakeo mentions his only goal going forward is just making sure his family is straight, and to move on from the rough past he had with going to jail and dealing with the justice system.
