RECREATING Into the Groove by Madonna | Casio CZ | Sequential Prophet 5 | Behringer DeepMind 12
For the final track, skip to 8:23 A brief walk-through of each instrument used to recreate Into the Groove by Madonna. The original track used a Roland MKS-80, Roland Juno-106, Oberheim OB8, Oberheim DMX and Yamaha DX7. The later mix also added a Roland 727 for extra percussion. In this recreation I replace the MKS-80 and Juno-106 with a DeepMind 12, the DX7 with a CZ1 and the OB8 with a Prophet 5. The Sequential Drumtraks is close enough to the original DMX since it actually contains clones of both the DMX and LM1 rom chips; it just needs some high boost as the filters used as a bit aggressive.
