A new BTG/Nexus poll has identified signs of changing behavior among some voters for the 2026 elections. Although the contest between President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro continues to lead in the analyzed scenarios, both registered a drop in spontaneous voting intentions. In the spontaneous poll, where respondents mention a candidate without receiving a list of names, Lula fell from 38% to 35%, while Flávio Bolsonaro dropped from 27% to 24%.
