Little Owl - The Woodland Watcher

Join me as I spend time with one of Britain’s most recognisable small birds of prey — the Little Owl. Filmed at Queen’s Park in Crewe, Cheshire, this documentary follows a familiar face known locally as Taz, a Little Owl that watched over this small corner of the park for many years. From quiet moments perched among the trees… to glimpses into the behaviour and routines of a bird many people came to recognise… this became more than simply filming wildlife. It became the story of a small owl that had become part of the landscape itself. Sometimes the most memorable wildlife stories aren’t found in distant places… Sometimes they’re waiting in an ordinary park, if you simply take the time to look up.
