叡山電鉄前面展望 出町柳→鞍馬 ＜Cabview Japanrail Eizan Electric Railway(Kyoto) Demachiyanagi → Kurama＞

This is a cab view of the Eizan Electric Railway tram, which runs north through Kyoto City. The line splits into two at Takaragaike Station, with the eastern branch opening first and considered the main line. However, the Kurama Line, which runs north from Takaragaike Station to Kurama Station, currently serves as the main line. Kurama Temple is a five-minute walk from the terminus, Kurama Station. Said to have been founded in 770, this temple has appeared many times throughout Japanese history. Along the Kurama Line, there are many historic temples and sites, including Kurama Temple, and the area is bustling with tourists from all over the world all year round. The autumn foliage season is particularly beautiful, and I'd like to return in about a month, but I'm not sure if I can handle the rush hour.
