Barbara's Story
The following short film training video Barbara’s Story – Hospital Stay is being used by ABMU with kind permission from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation. The film was made in 2012 to raise awareness of what it feels like to be a patient with Dementia in the unfamiliar surroundings of a hospital. The film is being used as part of ABMU Dementia Awareness sessions and Dementia Champion Training. The film very powerful and it makes you think. Please be aware that this film is emotive and may cause people to feel emotional.
