We guitarists always want to solve everything from scales, but in this case, that may not be the best way. There is an easier way and, above all, a more useful way for the jazz style. In jazz, chords rule, and they should be the foundational basis of our solos. With the information they give us, we have more than enough to try out many resources, arpeggios, rhythmic patterns, chromatic approximations... The solo sound we get using these resources is better than what we would get using scales, and above all, it will sound much more like AUTHENTIC JAZZ.
