Two Whippet model engines, the old and the new.
Here we have two Whippets, the first being offered as a casting kit back in the 1960’s for hobbyists and machinists to machine and build to be fitted to the likes of a model boat. This 10cc engine was designed by Edgar T Westbury and the kit is still offered for sale today through Hemingwaykits.com. The green tribute engine (this one being made by Musa but also some were made by Enjomor) were machined by modern methods using CNC machining and was machined from a solid block of aluminum. This engine is no longer offered for sale.
