Copying Paul Simonon’s P-Bass (Did I Mess It Up?)

I took my 2019 Fender Player Series Precision Bass and tried to turn it into a loose replica of Paul Simonon’s iconic “Palladium” bass. This isn’t a perfect recreation, and it was never meant to be, but somewhere along the way I started wondering: did I actually create an abomination! In this video, I walk through the mods, the inspiration behind them, my review of the bass and as usual, a few personal anecdotes.
