We had a new utility pole installed on our property. I never knew utility poles, which we see every day, were built like this! It was my first time seeing a utility pole installation, and I was captivated from start to finish by the amazing efficiency and teamwork. I've grown quite fond of it, and I no longer think of the utility pole on our property as an obstacle! And we used the leftover soil from the foundation work for a DIY project to save on disposal costs. It was just the right amount to raise the height of our parking lot, which was lower than the road, and extend its depth! The leftover soil had cement grout from the ground improvement work mixed in, and I was a little surprised at how firmly the parking lot hardened a few days later. It was fun doing some leveling work with the excavator again after a long time! I plan to share more about the construction process in the future.
