Unfortunately, I was surprised to find that there was a significant amount of metal in my oil. This is the first time I’ve changed the oil in the bike and the second every change (5k miles). If you are getting a similar result the overall consensus is this is typical engine wear for LC8 engine variants so do not fear. However, in order to guarantee the engine is in good health before tuning I share an analysis method I use and hope to have the results returned soon.
