Lesson 1. Basic embroidery frame.

For the following lessons, you'll need to purchase or order a wooden embroidery frame (approximately 62 cm * 75 cm in length and 2,5 -3 cm in width). In case you have any questions, kindly, address them to [email protected] or visit https://www.slautaschool.com/ You will also need: • 2 pieces of thick wool fabric (50 cm * 10 cm each) • cut of any transparent silk fabric (40*60 cm) • regular sewing kit (pins, a needle with the thread, scissors) • 10 meters of silk/cotton ribbon (2,5 cm width) What do you do? • wrap two longest parts of your embroidery frame with the wool fabric • assemble all frame’s components • mount the frame with the cut of transparent silk fabric It is recommended to use any transparent synthetic fabrics, organza, or tulle.
