Sydney Tramway Museum - MMTB AEC Regal III 352 Woronora River tour - TAD Festival (20 June 2026)

As part of the Trams After Dark festival (which is about celebrating the Winter Solstice and some of the shortest days of the year), I went on an AEC Regal III bus that was formerly operated by the Melbourne Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB) which had a shortened body (meaning it could only carry 30 passengers). The bus operated from Loftus to the Woronora River - and also made an appearance in photographs with Melbourne W2 class tram 249 (which you can find in the Extra Clips video that I'll upload later today). There was another bus journey from Loftus to Sutherland but I didn't take that one because it would have covered the longer Woronora route.
