Contemporary Management of Heavily Calcified Coronary Artery Disease

The American College of Cardiology’s 2022 meeting included live case broadcasts from the Piedmont Heart Institute at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This live case, performed by interventional cardiologists Dr. Prashant Kaul and Dr. David Kandzari, featured a 60-year-old patient, newly diagnosed with diabetes who was experiencing worsening exertional chest pain. The case discussion focuses on the treatment algorithm for calcified lesions.
