IND 8th Avenue Line: (A) (C) (E) Lcl/Exp & Test Trains @ 14th Street (R46, R160, R179, R211A, R211T)

During the AM rush hour, some uptown (A) trains terminate at Dyckman Street and 168th Street, and one downtown terminates at Euclid Avenue and is used afterwards on the (C) to provide extra midday service. During the AM rush hour, some uptown (E) trains terminate at Jamaica-179th Street. During this time, southbound (C) & (E) trains were delayed while EMS responded to someone in need of medical assistance on a train at Canal Street. Some southbound (C) & (E) trains ran express 49th Street-Columbus Circle/42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal to Canal Street. Some southbound (C) trains ran via the (F) line from West 4th Street-Washington Square and Jay Street-MetroTech. Some southbound (E) trains ran via the (F) line from West 4th Street-Washington Square to 2nd Avenue, the last stop. Taken: December 18, 2024
