Without his goal against Peru in 1957, there is no 1958 World Cup. Without 1958, there is no Pelé. The entire legend of the King began with a shot by Didi. But history has a cruel side. Boycotted by Di Stéfano at Real Madrid, ignored by Brazil as a coach, Didi remains, to this day, the only Black Brazilian coach to lead a national team in World Cups. And it wasn't even Brazil's.
