This video is about Isolation/Extraction of Plant Genomic DNA from Rice plant Leaves by using CTAB Method (M.G.Murray and W.F.Thompson, 1980) . For 2% DNA Extraction Buffer (DEB) preparation for ready to use : Trise - 12.1 gm NaCl - 81.8 gm EDTA - 7.4 gm CTAB - 20gm Add these chemical in 700ml MQ water step by step and mix it properly and CTAB should be add in last, Put it on water for at 65 degree to complete dissolve the CTAB, after that maintain the pH 8 of DEB by adding HCL and finally make the volume 1liter.
