Easy Quiche Recipes with Frozen Crust -Like Julia Child Made

Make 4 easy quiches: Lorraine, broccoli cheddar, ham & cheese, and Mexican-style! Updated the recipe with metric conversions for my international viewers đź’› Thanks for the suggestion! Ingredients: Frozen deep dish pie crust (Pillsbury or Marie Callender’s) 3 eggs Enough half-and-half or cream to reach 1½ cups (360 ml) of liquid total ½ tsp salt (3 g) ÂĽ tsp pepper (0.5 g) Pinch of nutmeg Fillings of your choice: Quiche Lorraine: 6 strips crispy bacon 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese (about 113 g) Broccoli Cheddar: 2 cups chopped broccoli, lightly steamed (about 180 g) 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (113 g) Ham & Swiss: 1 cup diced thick-sliced deli ham (about 140 g) 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (113 g) Chiles Rellenos: 2 tbsp cornmeal (16 g) 1 cup Monterey Jack & cheddar cheese blend (113 g) 1 can (4 oz / 113 g) diced green chiles, drained and dried 👩‍🍳 Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). 2. Remove crust from freezer and let it sit out for 10 minutes while oven heats. 3. Edited: Prick or "dock" pie crust on bottom and sides with a fork. Line pie crust with foil and add pie weights or dry beans (pinto, black, etc). Par-bake crust 10 - 12 minutes, remove weights and let it bake for another 8 minutes. Transfer to a rack and cool. Reduce oven to 375°F (190°C). 4. While par-baking your crust prepare your desired fillings. In a 2 cup measuring cup add three cracked eggs and enough half n half, whole milk or heavy cream until it reaches the 1 ½ cup (360 ml) mark (total measurement of eggs and cream combined) 5. Whisk together. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg (if using) 6. Place your other ingredients into the pie shell, pour over the egg mixture, top with additional cheese or herbs if desired. 7.
