Cottonwood Pass Is Unreal! 🤩 + Our BIG Hike Fail Near Buena Vista 🌲 (CO Road Trip – Day 4)

Day 4 of our Colorado road trip takes us from the serene forest near Mt. Elbert (Colorado's highest peak!) to Buena Vista. After a quick stop in town we tackle Cottonwood Pass, one of the highest paved passes in the U.S. at 12,126 feet (3,696 meters), but our hike on the Denny Creek Trail doesn’t go as planned—too steep for us at that elevation! 😅 Athena powers through, though, and gives us her usual judgement. 🐾🤣 Despite the hike fail, the views from the pass are totally worth it!
