You'll see it's very easy. We'll construct the line together, so don't worry. Keep in mind that positive real numbers are located to the right of zero, while negative real numbers are located to the left of zero. Then we'll talk about distance from the origin, and finally, we'll see the one-to-one correspondence that exists between real numbers and points on the line. It seems complicated, but it isn't. Finally, I'm going to leave you with a challenge where you're asked to represent some real numbers on the number line. I'll provide the solution in another video.
