How much does a Porsche Cayman 987 Engine rebuild cost when the car has bore score? My Porsche Cayman S 987 3.4 engine rebuild is now complete. In this video I am going to reveal the total cost of this rebuild, what was replaced and is it now working as it should be. Please be aware my Cayman 987 was driving normally, making no noises or even burning oil 3 months prior to this. Bore scoring can affect any car regardless of how well it has been looked after. This video series showing the rebuild will no doubt help somebody that is thinking of buying one of these amazing yet potentially problematic Porsche sportscars.
