The journey now continues through the Allgäu region with the double-unit BR 218. We have two bright red locomotives with a fresh major overhaul at the front of our train, and a set of InterCity carriages on the towbar. We will soon be rolling with the train from Immenstadt to Oberstdorf. We will stop at every major station, as we are traveling as a regional express, even though we have InterCity carriages on the towbar.
