Wayne - John Frusciante // Full Cover

A cover of John Frusciante's 'Wayne'. I recorded this in 2014 and posted it to my soundcloud:   / wayne-cover   The audio and video is not synchronised because they're 2 different takes. At the time, I couldn't figure out how to effectively route the audio from the guitar through the amp simulator and into the software I was recording video with, as well as hear the backing track I was playing over. Because of this, I didn't publish the video because the audio sync is not up to standard. However, I think the video could be helpful to anyone that is trying to learn the piece themselves, and is looking for a bit of direction on finger positioning. To learn it by ear was a project of several months of obsession, and I would've loved a guide at some points! To get the backing track from the original, simply mute the right channel. The lead guitar part is panned hard right, which helps as a reference to learn from. The lead guitar delay send is panned hard left, which is why you can hear some of the original in my cover/overdub. Enjoy :)
