ULANZI MT 16 mini vlogging Extension Tripod is quite an interesting accessory for vlogging with you GoPro, Phone or mirrorless camera. It also should work with DSLR however i think that most dslrs are quite heavy and you will be risking of your camera falling down if you exceed recommended 1,5 - 2k payload. The biggest reason I decided to get this tripod is that I needed something small and compact tripod but at the same time with a solid base and extendable for extra reach. I normally use my gopro shorty but certain nightlapses videos that i shot ended up being unstable due to slight wind. MT-16 is quite similar in design and offers some better quality for half of the price, it only costs you around 20$ whereas GoPro shorty is priced at 40$. That being said I am still going to use both accessories, gopro short is so small and compact that if feels in your pocket, so take it with you even if you are not going to need it. I really love the fact that the handle of MT-16 is covered with that anyslippery rubber surface that gives you a solid grip, when you attach your camera, an external microphone and some light to it feels more secure and stable in your hand, just wish there was a lanyard so even if you were to accidentaly drop the grip you wouldnt lose or damage your camera. Another big bonus is that they inclued a cold shoe mount so you can attach a microphone or a LED light to it, please also check another accessory called Ulanzi G9-6 https://amzn.to/3i1qJKg so you can replace your battery door for a new one and attach either another light or mic to it without a Media Mod !. #gopro #ulanzi #tripod
