Wenbo Cheats Against Joe Swail...?
It's time for a little bit of controversy here on Snooker Break. Here is an interesting incident from the 2008 world snooker championship second round match between Joe Swail and Liang Wenbo (in his debut year there.) It involves a miss incident in which the cue ball is replaced incorrectly which seems to allow Wenbo to play a different shot on his second attempt. Was too much made of it - Joe Swail was not happy in the press conference - or was this an early warning sign of someone who would go on to get a lifetime ban for match-fixing...? You decide...
