k.yalo is a Glasgow-based audiovisual artist exploring the liminal space between sound and vision via systems of distortion, repetition, and feedback. His live shows and installations merge light, projection, and the physicality of sound. Over the past decade, he has performed with Civil Elegies, The Ninth Wave, and The Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra; vj’d for The Horrors, Jensen Interceptor, VTSS, and Batu; performed solo at Scottish Queer International Film Festival, Glasgow International, and Jupiter Rising, and supported artists including Tirzah, clipping., The Utopia Strong, Mdou Moctar, Andrew Nolan, and Senyawa.   / k.yalo
