Its owner, Devdas, is rather shy and prefers to let his food do the talking. However, I learnt from regulars that while making a living as a waiter during the day, he would tend to his egg stall at night, and it is by dint of his hard work over a decade and pleasing demeanour that Devdas’s motte angadi (egg shop) is fast emerging as the spot for a late evening ‘eggy’ snack.
