Retay RXP22 - Optics Mounting Experience

The RXP 22 is not the best choice for optics mounting but I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised considering the price point. The included optics plate does not fit any screws or mounting hardware I have. The slide itself only fits my RMSC pattern optics in a direct mount which is not ideal due to the space left over, both front and rear. However, the limited number of rounds Ive shot through the gun this way does not appear to have any issues with the optic. I will continue to run it this way until it fails, if it fails. Its not perfect, but at least I got it to work with something. Additionally, using the Primary Arms micro reflex G2 gave me a good perspective into Primary Arms pistol dots. I'm not thrilled by the build quality at all, but for this application its good enough so far. We'll see if it holds up. If you're looking for an easy to use optics mounting 22 pistol, this is not it just based on this experience.
