Click here 👇🏽https://www.eunaupmotors.com.br/insta... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's quite natural to get used to the power of the sound system in the car and to constantly seek to improve its performance, but we must be aware that the equipment cannot provide more power than it was designed to work with. If we want more power, we need more powerful equipment. But there's always someone who tries some alternative way to extract more performance from the equipment, and this isn't always a good choice because it can even damage what was already working. Let's talk about 3 of these alternatives that I see around almost every day, whether among students or subscribers to our channels. First, let's talk about a connection system that's been trending lately: the trimode system. This system suggests connecting two or three completely different types of speakers to the same channel, from power and impedance to the frequency at which they are designed to work. This connection method is based on series or parallel connections in order to increase or decrease the impedance of each speaker so that the channel sends more or less power to each component. It will indeed play the sound with some difference in power due to the different impedance in each speaker, but the adjustment options are greatly reduced, if not nonexistent, because the gain and frequency cutoff adjustments will be the same for all speakers connected to that channel. The only way to adjust would be a passive crossover (capacitor) before each speaker, and the gain control will increase or decrease the gain of all of them together. That's why I consider this connection model a makeshift solution. Another DIY power boost alternative that I still see a lot of questions about is using 2 channels of an amplifier to connect the 2 outputs of a dual voice coil speaker. I agree that a speaker needs good power to perform its role well, especially the subwoofer, and it seems very attractive to connect each output of the speaker coil to 2 channels of the amplifier and to 2 breedge. However, no two channels will ever have exactly the same power as the other, as there will always be differences between the components of each channel circuit, and even a 1% difference between the power sent to each input of the speaker coil will already cause a significant loss in speaker performance. Therefore, the 2 outputs of the coil should always be connected to the same channel or the same breedge. Now, the champion of doubts, the clear winner in uninformed attempts to increase the power of a sound system, is connecting the radio channels in breedge. This has never worked and never will work, unless you are using the new "Amplayer" from Taramps which has a 4x100rms amplifier built into the radio. But in general, all radios are designed to send the determined power to each of the 4 channels individually, without the possibility of adding the power of 2 channels and sending it to a single speaker because the radio's internal amplifier circuit is not made for that. Therefore, if you need more power, the correct thing to do is to use a more powerful device and not invent crazy connections. I hope I have clarified why we should never make connections like the ones I mentioned, and I look forward to our next topic, thanks. Complete Courses, all in one place!
