How to forge a simple kiridashi knife from round stock
In this video, I am forging a normal sized kiridashi, or at least my take on it, from W1 drill rod. This was my first time hot cutting steel with a chisel, so I was a little cautious and didn't cut deep enough before trying to cut it off, hence the deformation rather than clean cut. Live and learn, right?
