Wood Densification Experiment
Using the method from the paper by J.Song et. al. ( https://www.nature.com/articles/natur... ) as a rough guide, I took a shot at densifying a couple of pieces of wood in my basement! The procedure uses a chemical soak followed by compression with heat. Basically, a spa treatment for wood. It's pretty damn cool if you ask me. But who's asking really....
