To meet the growing healthcare needs of children and to implement the policy of investing in the development of a specialized healthcare system, the National Children's Hospital has invested in and put into operation its second facility in Kieu Phu commune, Hanoi (formerly Quoc Oai district), approximately 17 km from the main facility. This facility is under the direct management of the National Children's Hospital and operates under a unified model in terms of expertise, management, and finance. The second facility shares the same mission of caring for, protecting, and improving the health of Vietnamese children. The staff at the second facility are transferred and rotated from the main facility according to the hospital's plan, ensuring uniformity in expertise, service quality, and hospital culture between the two facilities. The project was funded by the government with a total investment of over 880 billion VND on an area of ​​nearly 6 hectares. The complex comprises three main buildings with a synchronized and modern technical infrastructure system, meeting the requirements of a specialized pediatric hospital at the highest level. Along with this is a system of medical equipment invested with a modern orientation, effectively serving the examination, treatment, emergency care, resuscitation, and specialized treatment for children.
