David McCullough Reflects on a Life of Writing and Learning
David McCullough (1933-2022) discusses in this archival footage the writing principles and a lifelong passion for learning that fueled his esteemed career that includes Pulitzer Prize winners "John Adams" and "Truman" as well as National Book Award winners "Mornings on Horseback" (about young Teddy Roosevelt) and "The Path Between the Seas" (about the Panama Canal). "History Matters" is a posthumous collection of McCullough's speeches and essays from decades of research about U.S. history.
