The key to applying the Aurora Pigment is working the powder onto your nail that is covered with a layer of no-wipe gel top coat using a silicone nail tool. It's important to have a top coat without the dispersion layer or else this powder won't work. You will achieve the smoothest and most mirror-like unicorn nails. I've tried this powder over a normal nail polish, but the effect wasn't nearly as smooth and mirror-like. I thought nothing could surprise me after 5 years of blogging and doing my nails, but this powder is amazing in every way!
