Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Then, scoop out the avocado flesh and place it in a large bowl. 2. Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until almost smooth, with just a few small chunks remaining. 3. Add the lime juice, salt, cilantro, red onion, and garlic. Mix well. 4. Gently stir in the chopped tomato. 5. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed, adding more salt or lime juice to taste. 6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Suggestions: 1. Make sure your avocados are very ripe. 2. For extra flavor and texture, you can add a chopped jalapeño or chili pepper to the mixture. 3. You can add a pinch of cumin for a smoky flavor. Guacamole itself has many health benefits. Just be sure to serve it with crudités. Guacamole Ingredients and Benefits: 1. Garlic • Supports liver detoxification • Contains allicin • Is antibacterial • Helps maintain a healthy heart • May have anti-cancer benefits • Balances the gut microbiota • Is anti-inflammatory 6.
