Lawton Officer Derrick Kuhlman Charged with Felony June 2026. Arrested D. Jackson. Frivolous charges

They gave him a "good old boy" sentence, as well as an awfully low bail amount considering the severity of the charges. He was given a one-year deferred sentence, but it appears that at the end of June 2026, his charges were either upgraded or he repeated the exact same behavior. He now faces felony kidnapping and aggravated assault and battery; statutorily, the state will now have to revoke his previous deferred sentence. He can also be seen in a video, brainstorming on the fly with so many discrepancies regarding what to charge D. Jackson with. It is almost comical to watch how inept, moronic, and out of their element these officers actually are. Stupidity paired with this much responsibility equals danger. I know I would not want to be in the hands of someone this unknowledgeable and violent. The arrest of Mr. Jackson happened on January 29, 2026, while he was wearing a constitutionally protected anti-police shirt and quietly, without picketing, observing funeral festivities. Kuhlman's first arrest happened in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, and he was charged through Grady County. The second arrest was handled by Grady County as well. Furthermore, he has lost majority custody of his children due to a petition filed by his ex-wife. He was also issued a restraining order regarding his girlfriend, though it was later dismissed by her. In both the arrest affidavit and the petition for a protective order, she stated that she is afraid for her life if he were ever to lose his job as a police officer.
