Cortalim MLA Anthon Vas expressed strong anger over the long-pending sewage discharge issue in Verna during a site inspection conducted along with Cortalim Panchayat officials and Health Department authorities. The inspection was carried out following complaints regarding the alleged discharge of sewage from housing societies and buildings located opposite Mohiddin Petrol Pump. Vas claimed that residents have been raising the issue for several years, but no concrete action has been taken by the concerned departments.
