Magura HS33 Set Up : Everything You Ever Needed To Know

Brakes are one of the most important part of a trials bike, without good brakes it becomes very difficult to perform most techniques needed and is also very dangerous, often our lives depend on our brakes! One of the most popular brakes for trials riding is the Magura HS33, it's a hydraulic rim brake which has had a few changes over the years but one of the more popular versions was the 2005-2011 model (before they used the carbotecture material) but most of the advice given in this video will translate onto other years. It's a long video but Adam gave such great advice I decided to keep pretty much all of it in, we talk about cutting hose, fitting barbs, bleeding, clamp setup and hints and tips on how to get the 2005 lever running sweet. Big thanks for Adam for his time, please head to www.tartybikes.co.uk for anything trials related or to get the best advice.
